Born and raised in Michigan. Attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo Michigan to complete my undergraduate work. Graduated in December of 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Majoring in Secondary English Education, Minoring in Secondary Health Education, GPA 3.02.
Certified by the state of Michigan - Michigan Secondary Provisional Certificate - as 'Highly Qualified' in English grades 6-12 (BA) and Health grades 6-12 (MA)
Currently living in Boise Idaho and working various odd jobs to make the rent - sales associate, substitute teacher, tutor, online store owner.
Interests include but are not limited to; Photography, Travel, Cooking, Reading, Backpacking, Camping, Star Gazing, PostSecret, Antique Stores, Project 365, and Upcycling.
Life Goals include; getting certified to scuba dive, discovering my own dinosaur bones, mining for gemstones, panning for gold in a river, seeing Old Faithful erupt, living in a tree house, studying volcanoes in Hawaii, backpacking across Europe, learning Spanish, visiting all 50 states, getting something published, taking dance lessons, taking yoga lessons, paying off all of my loans, buying a house, getting my masters degree, getting my doctorate, and teaching college level courses.
